Build Dakota Scholarship Recipient: DOMINIK CASPERS

Muth Electric is proud to announce that Dominik Caspers is a Sponsor A Scholar Build Dakota Scholarship recipient at Southeast Technical Institute.

Dominik is a 2020 graduate from Marshall High School in Marshall, Minnesota. He is attending Southeast Technical Institute in Sioux Falls starting the fall of 2020. He will be pursuing an Associate’s Degree in the Electricians Program.

Dominik said he chose the electrical field because there is a wide variety of disciplines and areas within the profession. “I enjoy working with my hands and being part of a project and seeing it through to completion,” said Caspers. Dominik will be working towards completing his apprentice hours at Muth Electric. “After completing my apprentice hours, I will test for my Journeyworker’s license and continue to learn and build my knowledge,” he noted. The long term goal for his career is to enjoy what he does and work hard every day.

Caspers said he applied for the scholarship because the Sponsor A Scholar program provided an opportunity to match with an industry sponsor, like Muth Electric, Inc. He will be able to work while attending school and when finished will not have accrued any student loan debt. The best part he says is, “knowing the next five years I am committed and employed in my chosen field.” Muth Electric is a premiere electrical contractor that specializes in all types of electrical contracting and data cabling.

In his spare time, Dominik enjoys working on cars, hunting, fishing, competitive shooting, sports, and spending time with his family and friends.
